Moonlight

... looking for vocalists

“Moonlight” is an old-school RnB track with a positive message about making sense of confusing times. This is the music I love to dance to so I wrote it for myslef to enjoy, but I would really love to hear an RnB / Soul diva sing this. Any chance of getting Kelly Rowland?

Influences:
Toni Braxton, Ron Isley, Bill Withers, Zhane, SWV, Dark Child
mystery, half-lights, patience, obscurity, waiting, faith, suspense

Lyrics

Remember when
We were in love
When we were living in sunshine
And love was enough
Now there's confusion
The light fades out
And now the movements in shadows
Give way to doubt

Things ain't clear
In the moonlight
It's just imagination
Things ain't what they seem
Things ain't right
In the moonlight
It's just imagination
Things ain't what they seem to be

Remember when
We lost our way
It's just the half-light of morning
Before the new day
Don't trust the moonlight
Don't trust what you see
Yeah, life has new meaning now
For you and for me
